A number of European NGOs (non-governmental organizations) work exclusively to protect and replace animals used for scientific or educational purposes.
Others are so-called “generalist” animal protection NGOs, devoting only part of their resources to this theme.
We have only selected those that are members of the Eurogroup for animals (Animals in science) and/or ECEAE (European Coalition to End Animal Experiments).
