November 21-22, 2024, Ecole nationale vétérinaire d’Alfort: these days were organized around three main themes: setting up 3R sharing tools, replacement, digital approaches.
Following on from the actions undertaken by the FC3R over the last two years, the first French 3R Days aimed to promote the 3R principle (Replace, Reduce, Refine) in France. This symposium encouraged interaction between researchers, institutions and civil society players, while promoting the exchange of knowledge and best practices around the 3Rs and highlighting the significant advances made in France in this field.
The program was structured around four thematic sessions, covering FC3R actions, current initiatives and prospects for further integrating the 3Rs principle into scientific practice.
Finally, the FC3R Scientific Committee presented its first 3R Awards for “Research” and “Culture of Care”, in recognition of innovative and significant initiatives to implement the 3R principle in France.
Replays of most of the speeches are available on the event page.
