This 2018 conference brought together, for the first time, scientists, entrepreneurs involved in research, lawyers, engineers, sociologists, and others to discuss alternatives to animal testing. The multidisciplinary nature of the issue of animal testing requires that it be addressed from the perspectives of ethics, science, law, politics, and economics.
