To this end, it serves as a European 3Rs platform by providing expertise and networking opportunities, and by supporting educational programs in close cooperation with NGOs, regulators, research institutes, and industry to improve and implement humane experimental techniques as well as innovative <em>in silico<\/em> and <em>in vitro<\/em> methods.
