The ALURES statistical database provides detailed data on the use of animals for scientific and educational purposes in the countries of the European Union and Norway:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Section 1<\/a><\/strong>: Numbers of animals used for the first time for research, regulatory testing, routine production, education and training purposes in the EU
Section 2<\/a><\/strong>: Details of all uses of animals for research, regulatory testing, routine production, education and training
Section 3<\/a><\/strong>: Numbers and uses of animals for the creation and maintenance of genetically altered animals in the EU<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main criteria for querying the database are: country, year, species, purpose, severity, origin and genetic status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
