{"id":2994,"date":"2024-08-22T21:09:00","date_gmt":"2024-08-22T19:09:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/transcience.fr\/bdd-for-non-technical-project-summaries\/"},"modified":"2025-04-10T19:49:12","modified_gmt":"2025-04-10T17:49:12","slug":"bdd-for-non-technical-project-summaries","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/transcience.fr\/en\/bdd-for-non-technical-project-summaries\/","title":{"rendered":"BDD for non-technical project summaries"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A database has been set up to integrate the non-technical summaries of authorized projects (in application of article 43 of the 2010 European directive), in a standardized format: ALURES NTS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The detailed content of NTS is set out in <a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/?uri=uriserv:OJ.L_.2020.129.01.0016.01.ENG&amp;toc=OJ:L:2020:129:TOC\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Annex I to Commission Implementing Decision 2020\/569\/EU<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A search module is available, with the following criteria: country, species, purpose of project, year of publication, language. A keyword search is also available. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This database is supplied by the member states: <a href=\"https:\/\/webgate.ec.europa.eu\/envdataportal\/web\/resources\/alures\/submission\/nts\/list\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>click here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:22px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>A more user-friendly layout has been produced for France by the experimentation-animale.info website: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/experimentation-animale.info\/projets-approuves\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">click here<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:51px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>As regards the publication schedule, Member States are required to submit non-technical summaries for projects authorized after January 1, 2021 within six months of authorization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>France began supplying it in early 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As regards updating the NTS with the results of the retrospective assessment, it is important to know that the Directive provides for the possibility of doing so. The following Member States have transposed this requirement into their national legislation: Belgium, Bulgaria, Greece, Croatia, Cyprus, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Sweden and Finland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>France has not opted for this transparency measure.
